AISTC Course Applications

AISTC Course Application

  • ASA mebership is required to take part in ASA courses. Annual membership fees are £15 per head, All personnel must have passed the Military Swim Test
  • Army sport is currently only authorised at unit level. The latest HMG announcements suggest restrictions will be lifted from 21 June 21.

  • We support competition across several disciplines. You can pre-book your entry here. If you want accommodation at AISTC book that using the 'Accommodation' choice. There is free austere accommodation at Browndown Training Area (BTA).

  • This is the first ever wining instructor course in the Army

  • £8 per head per night
  • These courses are only available to ASA members. Applications can be made at the start of the course.
  • Service Personnel taking part in waterbourne activities must have passed a Military Swim Test and have it recorded on JPA.
  • CoC approval is required to attend courses at AISTC as personnel must be 'on duty'.
  • AISTC practical courses are for Service Personnel only
  • If you know the gender breakdown please let us know e.g. F 15, M 25
  • General Data Protection Regulation 2018. The above information will be used only to process the booking and contacting you about the course. Records of your attendance will be destroyed in accordance with GDPR regulations. Occasionally we take photos of participants for publicity including for use on our website. If you object, please inform the Centre.
